That was awesome!!! So fucking cool holy shit
I mean it was totally scuffed bc everyone was gone for exams but it was endearing in that way
Only 6 people, and 2 were exec ppl. 1 freshman was totally quiet the entire time, 1 freshman was like… ok maybe this is ableist but I think they were on the spectrum (I wanna say not in bad way!! But don’t wanna just be coping)
Like they hyper focused on certain aspects and lost sight of the bigger picture. They also talked a bunch and I hated their takes lol
Then there was a junior, the only other non woman there and he was kinda know it all bro and was terrible at conversation lol and I hated his takes
But!!! The 2 exec ppl were super chill and I had great interactions with them back in forth and had super chill convo after but I’m getting ahead of myself
We basically had a discussion on a case study about AI replacing healthcare providers. They planned for it to be a debate thing where people argued for an assigned side but it quickly broke down lol
But it’s super cool that the execs were like super go with the flow and chill. Also they had good takes!!! Really interesting talking ethics with ppl with more specific knowledge about an area bc they’ll catch things I won’t
Like for ex I was like well AI doesn’t have the ability to be conversational and answer clarifying questions like people can and Emily was like yeah but do physicians (don’t know the word) even do that now? Like I’m super divorced from reality of practice and it’s cool to be

But yeah the best part I think was at the end when everyone else was leaving and I asked a question to Emily about sending the case studies before meetings so people could read them (I like doing that and also there was lots of confusion among ppl about exactly what the case was)
And she thought that was a really good idea and we chatted with McKenna (other exec) about how I found out about the club and about how it was a scuffed night and it just all felt really natural it was great!! Felt supa confident :))
I also talked a bunch (not dominating amount) which was cool! Oh I forgot to mention when I ended convo it was cool and felt rly good. While ppl were leaving they were like trying to get ppl to come back and reassuring it’s normally better etc
So when I left I was like I guess I’ll see you guys in 2 weeks :) and they were excited lol very fun interaction
oh and i should add more context: this was 2nd meeting ever, this is their first semester club. also an example of what the guy said came to mind about why i hated his takes lol
