i'd be so paranoid with actually maintaining a system, it'd be so easy to miss that a rule is used in multiple locations and fuck some shit up
i got called after-hours for this once and it was nightmare scenario used across all of charge review. i ended up doing a router repost inappropriately when i could have just done it at the TAR level, sorry coders
could be worse but it was accounting end of month so they weren't thrilled about their mistake, and the analyst on the call was really weak so they appreciated just having a solution. got a questioning teams message from eva on monday but she was kind about it when i explained
was just extra painful because i could have avoided the whole RA and ad hoc logic request :sob:
