lots to comment on (mostly technical nits about being misleading) but by far the worst is “your governance” while visibly demonstrating all the ways in which the power you are granted is discretionary within the authority of others (and this has already played out practically already!)

the real answer is that it’s just a misuse of a word that sounds techno-political and is repeatedly used in the space. it’s not incoherent to be clear, just recontextualized and scoped differently than standardly applied. but rhetorically invoked flimsily and haphazardly.
