if i ever get married im not wearing a ring
gail got me the closest thing to a perfect ring when we were together, it was this unassuming dark gray band with a rough texture
although i think it was slightly too small a fit
i had already outgrown it in a way, or maybe it was aptly constraining (pseud reading too much into a metaphor)
