desmi is my favorite i think, although it would be strictly incorrect to group them in this milieu, they do it better than those attempting to do so

this pretty much gives the game away that the implicit aesthetic teleology is of overriding interest to me, which i think is true of others as well given how these genres are frequently bundled, but there might be some presentation particulars that prevent them from appreciating it in the same way
which is a little arrogant, but i dont think its necessarily better to have broader associative properties yield the same aesthetic experience. and there's always gonna be a degree of variance since no one really knows what the target is
mostly because of the ages of those involved and the more or less inherently limited historical sense (which isn't bad, that's the whole impetus for creation!)
