i’m not so bold as to aspire towards my own aesthetic contributions, but i hope to become someone who can keep up with the conversation
unfortunately it’s not as easy as opting out of participation or suspending judgement, abstinence is not an option and the notion of excusing oneself from aesthetics is as absurd as excusing oneself from ethics or politics (beyond absurdity, it is more disgusting than either of those two)
