i’m feelin the gulf between volitional actions and responsive actions
the former is a pretty narrow slice, but the distinction is highly interpretative to the point of essentially being ad hoc so that doesn’t mean much more than to say “it feels imposed”
i think a less morally charged reading is possible but then you also lose the motivation to make the distinction in the first place
