a rhetorical move i dislike is one that essentially says anarchism implies lack of evaluation, that it’s authoritarian to not tolerate differences of opinion. when ig they really mean to say that the evaluation in question is not all that significant, because obviously they have their own limits

in a somewhat implicit way, the more overt and combative forms where the question directly arises are too far determined to engage with the requisite subtlety and care
