well that's not true
then again no one uses the term right anymore in part because anything contributing to proper dual power is so far out of reach. the meta has moved on to calling things "prefigurative", which sounds awesome and revolutionary and it's great because you can pursue it in unthreatening weakness
i don't mean to be so dismissive because yea it's worth doing and yea it is necessary and genuinely individually transformative, albeit as basically a more action-oriented form of consciousness raising. theoretically the action could be leveraged further but like that's not happening.
it's also worth doing because the alternative is acquiescent accomodation to the status quo and while this is inevitable when weak, making a conscious effort to behave differently in the spaces granted as "private", you might as well try to make your action as utopian as you can imagine

im well aware there are more ambitious projects of prefigurative institution building, some that could even be dual power, and these are a necessary precondition of a more complete consciousness raising. but the benefit of prefigurative politics is the slippage between the revolutionary and private
(i use "benefit" cynically here of course). you get to feel subversive and as a part of a larger struggle while not doing very much at all. which yknow, is fine. by the time you get over it you're likely to have some cool intuitive styles of relating that persist
