the activities of being a student are degrading but you have way more time to do shit you wanna do. poor division between free time and work time sucks though. the real thing is the lack of independence because of no money. but day-to-day as a student i was able to pursue more interesting things.
again though, i can do more cool shit now that i can go wherever and pay for it, but i think part of that is just growing up and taking more advantage of opportunities i always had
i don't really miss being a student at this point but when i see recent labor force entrants wish for it back i sympathize, since i was the same way for a long while. it's a pretty dreadful transition
