i gave my citations!! none of which were rorty!! you would never catch him saying that shit smh
maybe it's just a tempermental difference in ambition or maybe it's a philosophical discrepancy, but rorty would basically say we need new vocabulary to even begin to reject existing conceptions. i can imagine geuss responding that this might overestimate one's ability to jump over their own shadow
although i also think it very much depends on how the positions are applied contextually and in how strong of a sense each mean their claims
