my succinct solution is the abolition of patriarchy, capitalism, and the state, although i imagine that’s not the answer you’re looking for and would prefer some positive prescription for a drop-in replacement for the family as an institution.
we could talk about interesting alternative kinship models and their relative merits or any other particularity, but the issue is that it’s a fundamental restructuring of childhood and its place in society, and so would involve an incredibly broad range of explication and contextual specification
