oh no its not like active distrust, its more like i just don't understand it and that makes me skittish. these posts are less of me actually endorsing the position and more of me making fun of myself for being irrational lol.
and for some reason when doing dev type stuff i really dislike using external stuff that abstracts a bunch of the work for me (ex. my abstract dislike of importing python modules) and webdev seems like peak that in a lot of ways
oh and lastly i'm not even that invested i'm just riffing on a copypasta lol
it's totally arbitrary tho, it's not like i understand how assembly code works and bits get flipped or w/e. text/data manip is just more comfy in my brain
