well to be transparent the sense of continuity i have in mind is a lot more abstract, something akin to “the mood this person captured in this time period of their life”, to use a creator-centric example
of course we can decontextualize and recontextualize from there, but it feels like we’re striving for sonic fungibility before we can even begin
