blazingly hot take: it’s actually completely fine to loop people in that had nothing to do with moderation that still work at bsky. whether they like it or not, to some extent they’re still complicit in all of the organization’s actions, not just the parts they directly contribute to. and while ofc the content of what people are randomly throwing out there is dumb, i don’t have anything in principle wrong with including devs in the conversation. and practically, i don’t think it’d be a bad thing for them to be more aware of the practical consequences people are experiencing under centralization, to inform future development.
