hmm i definitely agree that system design has a major influence on the behavioral patterns of users, but i don’t know if i’m convinced it’s deterministic. cultural mores are just as much ‘material’ (to use the obvious metaphor)
oh btw i kinda had this in mind when writing
the schismogenisis bit isn’t rly the important part in this case, it’s more the observation that a range of superstructure is possible despite the similar base
