i'll simply point out that needs claims are always elliptical ('A needs X' is actually 'A needs X for Y') and in the context of this post, i was denying at least two kinds of claims for a particular someone with whom i have a dear relationship:

1) my 'Y' is not relevant for you circumstances 2) we may refer to 'X' by the same name, but, as with all good virtues, this concept is not invariant nor antecedently specifiable with necessary and sufficient conditions for all people in all times
