ur right tho, nothing stopping you from having effectively priv pds behind extra layers of auth, at that point its just a weird lil instance with data structured the atproto way

ooooh you’d have to get fancy with it for phi but in principle it could make interop way better too, like unironic did:gov and canonical identity
