ngl me too, i think he’s weirdly overhyped and pretty boring (it was just a cutesy way to indicate i had sex)
the book (really an extended essay) is an early one of geuss’ where he describes various senses in which the public/private divide have been used in different historical contexts for different purposes, with the intent to break the intuitive sway of a unitary distinction
