yeaa, “editing” is really deleting the post and re-creating a post with the same rkey. the like record on your repo pointing to the post with that rkey still exists tho
idk specifically how bsky handles the counter tho, does anyone know if it’s a cid thing? i have my suspicions because of how i got the counter back after restoring the record to its previous state that one time
