the straightforward nominalism of weber and wittgenstein is refreshing relative to the theoretical confusion of analytics but its horribly thin
i really do think there is more space for an enlightened pragmatism to do more, but it would look very strange to pragmatism's typical adherents
i think rorty's strange pragmatism gets us to a more exciting configuration but by basically going in the opposite direction (or maybe inventing a new dimension?) of what i mean in root
