mhm this is p much my take (at least partially). all that stuff is neat and all but idc, and i think it’s usually a sign that the concepts are still relevant to one’s life (which is fine if they are, because you’re in a context where that stuff is relevant to the social world)
(while that wiki describes the concept i'm trying to convey, it wasn't actually what helped me solve it, i just had to fiddle around forever with qt5ct and my /etc directory)
i forget, what do you run again?
i can handle the occasional rogue program but it really really bothers me when things aren't in sync and it makes me really happy when i highlight text and it's pink
i have this problem sometimes where i say things i don't believe in order to keep the conversation going smoothly but then i trap myself when the fake position i've concocted is internally inconsistent
incl. like LLMs or reinforcement learning algos etc? in other words do you think anything labeled “ai” that currently exists is conscious and/or has qualia?
most popular in latin american catholicism i believe, basically making an explicit connection between their religious and political views and each informing the other. i haven't read *a ton* directly, but i'm familiar with authors that were greatly influenced even if not cannonical figures
my AniList setup is comf:
* mnemonic in my uLauncher (think dmenu): "a [title]"
queries anilist api for anime's url, and opens in my browser. also works as mpv script from a file
* Ctrl+Alt+A global keybinding to open my profile
* custom browser search engine
* modified dark pink AniList theme w/ logo
* TamperMonkey nyaa.si button on every page (also similar query/bindings/search engine)
* TamperMonkey MALtoANI button
