But thinking must not confine itself to abstract negation. The illusion that it is possible to take hold of the many directly would regress to mythology, to a diffuse greyness just as at the opposite pole unity thinking would mean the imitation of blind nature by suppressing it, mythical domination.
people have this perception of dialectics or continental philosophy as impenetrable but if you listen to adorno chat about it casually in lectures its all extremely approachable and unmysterious
it can get a little chaotic during the boss fight especially with low damage/items but increasing director credits in the first two stages is much more enjoyable
kinda odd when people complain about an aspect of a game with modding capability which has mods available for that precise change. like sure balance would probably be best provided by devs that can consider a wider context and it makes it more 'official' but in the meantime...
this thought also makes me happy because it's a recognition that there is a long process of socialization/familiarization into a culture/community, and the scaffolding you use to start joining in on the conversation probably has a lot more depth than you're capable of grasping at the start
in general on the left we're excessively nominalist, and it came about for good reasons, but it runs against real limits and there has to be more grappling and usage of the universal
so the point about dialectics is not to negate the concept of fact in favour of mediation, or to exaggerate that of mediation; it is simply to say that immediacy is itself mediated but that the concept of the immediate must still be retained.
first listen of sofa so good and my take is that its alright, but i recall home alone being a lot more compelling. gonna listen back to both, maybe come to mexico as well
i actually have a lot of renewed interest lately in revisiting authors i previously read, because frankly i think im a lot more intelligent than i used to be and im not sure if i trust the guy that read it first
