one thing i respect about dan is that he doesn't shy away from the sludge that is user feedback and is a really good listener

does a good job of engaging with folks and taking their concerns seriously, while at the same time being transparent about his perspective and humble enough to seem genuinely curious and open to criticism

crucially tho from what i've seen he doesn't just dig his heels in nor completely acquiesce to another's opinion, but straddles the happy medium. i've seen this with devs/peers as well as users.
