which is, there’s, roughly speaking, shreyan and there is, roughly speaking, goeo. shreyan says (it’s a bit of exaggeration, but she says): bluesky can do nothing, we must decentralize ourselves.
the other side is goeo, which is that atproto remains deeply enmeshed with bluesky and
that core components require revision and additional support for meaningful decentralization to be possible.
i just think goeo is more likely to be right about that, and that we must be scrupulously careful with and skeptical of the stewards of the protocol.
