View in bsky.appbeen thinking about Freire lately and while i'm obvi not on board with his foundations, i feel the importance of his notion of dehumanization. i do it at my job all the time - i am dehumanized by my structural position but by being a vector of capital's power i dehumanize those who my work affects.
