well it makes sense right? when a new post is created its like count will start at 0, but the old likes from the original users still exist for the uri
all that being said without any actual familiar with the code here, but conceptually that checks out to me. tho now i wonder how likes for deleted posts actually work…
wouldn’t be the most surprising thing if i could just delete an ancient post, keep track of the rkey, and then make a new post one day carrying over the likes,, but it feels so jank lmao
